A group of mostly retired guys calling
themselves "Old Coots on Scoots" meet Mondays at 10AM at the
Myrtle Beach Harley-Davidson dealership, which is closed
Mondays.
Several guys meet around 9AM on Mondays to
ride out of Wimmer Cycle located on the Highway 17 Bypass
Frontage Road about a mile north of SBB 4 Corners to meet the
group at MBHD. You don't need to be a "Coot" to ride
along. |

friends every Sunday Morning from 10AM until Noon for an
awesome breakfast buffet. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs,

biscuits, sausage gravy w/real sausage and grits. Krispy
Kreme Krueller doughnuts, toast, bagels and english muffins.

Thunder in the Smokys - Spring Rally
Thousands of bikers roll into the Great Smoky Mountains for the busiest motorcycle weekend of the year. Brian Jackson, the host of Corbin's Ride On, calls it "A world class event" and Full Throttle magazine refers to it as "riding in circles". You can ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway, to Cherokee, then on to Asheville and back to the rally in Maggie Valley.
Every road is a scenic highway. Maggie Valley is a biker friendly town and a great place for bikers to gather for a rally in the valley surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. It makes for a rumbling weekend in the Great Smoky Mountains. Maggie Valley is less than ten minutes from I-40. Thunder in the Smoky's is not the Carolina dealers rally or the Rally in the Valley. Thunder in the Smoky's is a independent rally hosted by Handlebar Corral Productions.
